The project.

Field View is a detached family home in Burnham Market, set back on its plot with front parking and a rear garden that backs onto arable farmland. The west-facing position gives bright afternoons and long evenings.

Why the partnership made sense.

A strong village location, built to a high standard by a partner who builds homes they would want to live in.

Our approach.

    01 · Find

    a plot in a Georgian village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a few minutes from the North Norfolk coast.

    02 · Plan

    a large kitchen and dining room and a sitting room both opening onto the garden, a boot room entrance, and a ground floor bedroom with shower room.

    03 · Build

    oak and glass staircase, solid oak doors, underfloor heating on the ground floor, a free-standing log burner and a fitted kitchen with Corian worktops and an island.

    04 · Finish

    a Farrow & Ball paint scheme, a master bedroom with a Juliet balcony and dressing area, bi-fold doors to a west-facing terrace, and lawns and terraces enclosed by hedging and fencing, with an iron railing at the rear to keep the fields in view.

Burnham Market.

Burnham Market is a Georgian village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a few minutes from the North Norfolk coast. It has a village green, independent shops, galleries, a deli, pubs and restaurants, a doctors' surgery, a dentist, a pharmacy, a primary school and a post office. The sailing harbours at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe are nearby.
