Main Street
Commercial and residential property. One long-term ownership strategy.
Main Street is a mixed-use asset combining commercial and residential property within a single investment. It reflects an important part of JAW Capital's strategy: owning assets where different uses can sit together successfully, while taking an active role in both the property itself and the relationships that support it.

Why it fitted JAW.
We look for property that gives us more than a passive ownership role. Main Street offered the characteristics we look for in a mixed-use investment: an established location, existing occupation and the opportunity to manage the asset over a long period rather than simply acquire and move on. The acquisition also broadened the portfolio beyond purely residential property.
Active ownership.
Our approach is practical and hands-on. Since acquisition, JAW Capital has overseen building maintenance and repair works while managing the commercial relationship and longer-term lease position. That includes reviewing lease arrangements proactively rather than waiting for issues or formal deadlines to dictate decisions.
Our approach.
Maintain
Protect the underlying building and deal with maintenance as it arises.
Manage
Maintain constructive relationships with occupiers and professional advisers.
Review
Regularly consider lease structure, asset condition and longer-term requirements.
Own
Take decisions with a long-term ownership mindset.
Current position.
Main Street remains part of JAW Capital's owned portfolio. Our focus is on maintaining the property, actively managing its different elements and protecting its long-term position within the portfolio.
